Archival Recording of Sydney Harbour Bridge Toll Plazas: Archival Photographic Report

Cosmos Archaeology was commissioned by the NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) to carry out archival photographic recording of the toll plazas located at the northern and southern approaches to the Sydney Harbour Bridge; prior to their removal as part of the final process inĀ  implementing the bridge’s cashless tolling system. The study area for archival photographic recording included the fixed toll booths that date to the 1950s, located on the northern approach, and the fixed and moveable toll booths on the southern approach. The archival photographic recording for the toll plazas included base plans, catalogue sheets, proof sheets, colour transparency negatives, DVD copies and a selection of enlarged black and white and colour prints.
